UNIMA joins Erasmus+ READ project

The University of Malawi (UNIMA) says it has joined an Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiative called the Renewable Energy Advancement for Inclusive Development in Sub-Saharan Africa (READ) project, aimed at strengthening renewable energy education, research, and innovation. According to UNIMA, the project includes collaboration with regional partners, follows a kick-off meeting held in Mogadishu from January 12 to 14, 2026, and is planned to run for 36 months.
