1. Respect for Copyright

Malawian respects the intellectual property rights of artists, creators, and rights holders. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws.

2. Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to Malawian without your permission, please send a written notice to admin@malawian.com with the following information:

1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. A description of the material on Malawian that you claim is infringing, including the URL or other specific location.
3. Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to admin@malawian.com including:

1. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
3. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district.
4. Your physical or electronic signature.

4. Repeat Infringers

Malawian will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers. We maintain records of all takedown notices and track patterns of infringement.

5. Content Reporting

Users can also report potentially infringing content directly from any artist page using the "Report Content" link. Reports are reviewed by our team and acted upon promptly.
