He noted that similar claims about his well-being have surfaced periodically since 2016 and asked the public to stop spreading misinformation.
Addressing the nation, Mutharika urged citizens to shift their attention away from political speculation and focus on rebuilding the country. He highlighted the urgent need to resolve ongoing economic challenges, including foreign exchange shortages, and stated that the national fuel supply is already showing signs of improvement.
