Update: The Producers and Audio Engineers Association of Malawi (Paeam) has reversed its decision regarding a K1 million minimum studio fee. According to Nation Online, Paeam president Percy 'Pro Pee' Manyozo clarified that the proposed fee was informal and that members are free to determine and charge their own production rates, resolving the recent debate across the local music industry.

Meanwhile, local platforms such as Amati Zambiri and Just Malawi Music report a steady stream of fresh digital content from Malawian artists this week. Newly released tracks include "Fine" by Krazie G featuring Crispy Malawi, "Idea" by Pop Young, and "Jump" by Fada Moti. Artists are also expanding their visual catalogs, with new music videos premiering online, including the official release of "Mati" by Nakki.

In digital entertainment developments, a Blantyre-based developer has launched a desktop application named Malawi Radio Live to help the diaspora stream local stations. According to project announcements on Reddit, the PC software features a dedicated audio engine and a six-second anti-stutter buffer to maintain streams during poor internet connections, alongside a function to record live DJ broadcasts directly to a computer's hard drive.
