According to the Malawi Music Blog and Nation Online, gospel musician Steve Muliya, popularly known as Wazisomo, has released a new vernacular single titled 'Mfumu'. The track fuses gospel music with traditional manganje dance rhythms and features collaborations with artists Pon G, OBk, and Yoba. Muliya stated that the song aims to motivate listeners to praise through traditional dance. The single serves as a preview for his upcoming 15-track album, 'Zisomo Volume 3', which is expected to launch in September 2026. Muliya also recently announced his transition into full-time ministry as a pastor at Grace Life Assembly Church.
