According to Nyasa Times, McKnight arrived at Chileka International Airport on July 31 and held a press briefing before the show. The "Sunset In The Warm Heart" event faced severe technical delays that left fans waiting in the cold for hours. Local musician Namadingo missed his scheduled set due to sound problems, Amati Zambiri reported. However, the event recovered when McKnight took the stage, impressing the audience with classic hits like "Crazy Love" and "Back at One".
In Lilongwe, the "Landlord Pakwao" concert took over the Bingu National Stadium over the August 1 weekend. Hosted by Malawian hip-hop artist Gwamba, the event featured a co-headlining set from Nigerian star Ruger alongside several local acts. Amati Zambiri reported that Malawian artist Ca$ino was among the standout local performers, delivering an energetic set that thrilled the stadium crowd.
