National Bank of Malawi plc has announced a K5 million sponsorship for Armstrong Kalua, now performing as Onesimus, ahead of his “The Never Ending Battle 2026” concert at the Bingu Wa Mutharika International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, according to Malawi24.
Malawi24 reports the concert is packaged as “Armstrong vs Onesimus,” a concept built on the artist’s move from secular music as Armstrong to gospel music as Onesimus, and quotes Ibrahim Chapeyama, identified as the bank’s Product Development and Strategy Manager, saying the sponsorship is intended to support local talent and Malawi’s creative economy, alongside a “Mo Excellence Ticket Giveaway” promotion run through the bank’s Facebook page. A PayChangu events listing also advertises “Armstrong vs Onesimus, The Never Ending Battle” at BICC in Lilongwe on 28 February 2026.
