FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have reached an agreement with Civil Service United to sign 25-year-old striker Dastan Banda ahead of the new season, according to the club's official website. The transfer aims to strengthen the attacking lineup following Banda's successful campaign in the TNM Super League. In related news, Face of Malawi reports that police in Blantyre arrested three men suspected of manufacturing and selling counterfeit FCB Nyasa Big Bullets T-shirts. Southern Region police spokesperson Beatrice Mikuwa confirmed the seizure of materials and equipment allegedly used to produce the fake merchandise locally.

In other domestic transfer updates, Silver Strikers FC have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Eric Atsigah on a free transfer from Chitipa United, as reported by Pan-Africa Football. The 27-year-old centre-back, who earned six Man of the Match awards last season, has joined the Lilongwe-based club to replace departing defender Maxwell Paipi. Owinna reports that the Bankers have also signed forward Mally Kasongo, goalkeeper Christopher Mikuwa, and defender Lumbani Nyondo. However, Africa-Press notes that Civil Service United recently rejected an offer from Silver Strikers for midfielder Yankho Biliati, declaring the player is not for sale.

On the international stage, Scorchers captain Tabitha Chawinga has been voted the February Player of the Month for her French club Olympique Lyonnais Women. According to Pan-Africa Football, the 29-year-old forward secured the majority of fan votes after showing excellent form in the Division 1 Feminine, the French Cup, and the UEFA Women's Champions League. Chawinga was recognised for her attacking contributions, registering three goals and three assists during the month to win the award over her teammates Lily Yohannes and Ines Benyahia.
