Malawian music veteran Namadingo has teamed up with vocalist Temwah to release a new Afro-fusion single titled "My Woman," according to Nation Online. The song and its accompanying music video focus on themes of love and loyalty, bringing together Namadingo's expressive storytelling and Temwah's smooth vocals.

In cultural news, Malawian artists, artisans, and designers have secured an opportunity to showcase their craft internationally at Expo 2027 in Belgrade, Serbia. Nation Online reports that the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture has officially called on local creatives to submit their products for the global exhibition. The event will run under the theme "Play for humanity: sport and music for all," with the Serbian government covering most participation expenses for Malawi under its Partnership Programme for Least Developed Countries.

Meanwhile, Kumbali Castle in Lilongwe became a center for sports and entertainment on August 30 as it hosted the "Clash at the Castle II" event. Malawi24 reports that the gathering combined elite boxing with live music, featuring a performance by Sirius Beings. Local production company HiFi Events provided specialized arena-style lighting and audio for the main card, which was headlined by a national super lightweight title bout between Mayamiko "Tyson" Mozland and Snoden Maximus Munyanje.

Further expanding Malawian cultural footprints abroad, UK-based Malawian entrepreneur Edwin Ndenguma has officially opened Noire Lounge and Bar in Nottingham. According to Nation Online, the establishment launched with a grand opening event on Friday in the city's Hockley district, adding a new Malawian-owned venue to the local entertainment scene.
