A recent analysis indicates that US bilateral agreements will cut health funding by 59 percent of pre-2025 levels by 2030. This steep reduction in financial assistance means Malawi will have to mobilize new funding equal to 56 percent of the country's total health expenditure to sustain essential medical services.
