Education stakeholders gathered in Liwonde for the Domasi College of Education 2026 Research Dissemination Conference, held under the theme "Education for Sustainable Development: Building Skills for Malawi 2063." During the September 2 event, Minister of Education Bright Msaka challenged researchers to critically examine whether the current curriculum is preparing citizens with the relevant skills needed to achieve the country's development goals, Malawi Digital Press reports.
Update: The Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) has officially released the names of successful candidates selected for its postgraduate programmes for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. According to a university announcement, selected students assigned to the Bunda and City campuses have been instructed to report for their first semester by September 7, 2026, to begin the online registration process following the payment of initial tuition fees.
