According to Nyasa Times, Minister of Natural Resources Patricia Wiskesi announced that authorities are revising national regulations on ozone-depleting substances to incorporate the chemicals into existing quota and licensing systems. Update: The Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services has issued fresh weather warnings for Lake Malawi and other water bodies. In a five-day forecast released on Monday, the department warned of moderate Mvuma winds driven by a warm easterly air mass. Meteorologists advised all lake users to remain alert to protect life and property amid hot and hazy conditions across the country.
