In Salima District, communities in Traditional Authority Kalonga are benefiting from a new livelihood project led by World Vision Malawi, according to Agri Malawi. The intervention focuses on establishing solar-powered irrigation schemes and promoting climate-smart agriculture to support local farmers.
Additionally, the initiative includes the distribution of livestock, specifically goats, to participating households. The agricultural support is designed to build economic stability and ensure consistent food production for families in the district.
