Update: Expanding on earlier reports of the Malawi Health Equity Network (MEHN) boosting immunisation in Mzimba, the organisation officially donated bicycles to the Madede Mother Care Group on March 27 to help health workers reach remote areas. According to AfricaBrief, MEHN Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Florence Nkhonyongwa stated that male involvement in child vaccination efforts has grown significantly in the district. Local health authorities report that more men are accompanying their partners to clinics, which is helping to break cultural barriers and improve overall child health outcomes.
