Update: Maranatha Academy has broken its own record by sending 431 students to public universities across Malawi, according to Nyasa Times. The figure is an increase from the institution's previous record of 405 students. This development follows the latest release of the national harmonised university selection results, which includes admissions to the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) City Campus.

Maranatha Academy Managing Director Ernest Kaonga praised the results, telling Nyasa Times that the outcome reflects the school's deliberate excellence and relentless consistency in academic performance. As competition for public university spaces remains tight nationwide, Kaonga stated that the high number of selected students demonstrates the academy's ongoing leadership within the Malawian education sector.
