A new musical adaptation of Malawian inventor William Kamkwamba's inspiring true story is making its way to the London stage, according to London Theatre. "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind," originally a memoir and film detailing Kamkwamba's success in building a wind turbine to save his village from famine, will debut at the West End's @sohoplace. Following a premiere by the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, the production will run from April 29 through July 18, 2026.
